As a reaction to the micro-wounds created, the body produces more collagen to repair the treated skin. The body will continue to produce collagen even after the punctures have completely subsided, to keep it healthy and glowing. Another natural mechanism of the body is to draw blood towards areas that need repair and sustenance. As a result of the holes made by this treatment, the skin will increase its demand for blood to heal the micro-wounds created prompting the body to send more. Platelets that are present in the blood will cause tiny clots and the microscopic scabs that will come after will be naturally sloughed off in the process revealing healthier new skin.

It is used to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin by removing its damaged outer layers. A peel removes several layers of sun damaged skin cells, leaving fresh skin which has a more even surface and colour. It also stimulates new collagen to be formed improving skin texture and quality.

CANCELLATION POLICY

24 hour notice is required for cancellations and rescheduling, after which 50% of the full treatment price will be charged.

Cancellation policy (packages/courses): if one of your treatments are missed during a course of treatments, without 24 hour notice, you will forfeit your treatment for that day.

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment time to allow you sufficient time to enjoy our spa facilities. Kindly note that arriving late means that you will receive a shorter treatment.

Please be considerate to other guests as the spa is a haven of tranquillity. Spa amenities and attire: bathrobes, slippers and towels will be provided. Bathing costumes are essential when using facilities In the interest of our guest’s privacy, the use of cell phones and cameras are prohibited.
